PURPOSE:To obtain a metallic decorative sheet which is superior in weather resistance and metallic properties and suitable for overlay for a building mate rial and a molding for an automobile, by a method wherein the title sheet is comprised of a fluorine-containg resin surface film, metallizable transparent resin film and metallized layer. CONSTITUTION:A metallizable transparent resin film 2 and metallized layer 3 are laminated in order on the back of a fluorine resin surface film 1, in a metallic decorative sheet. A polychlorotrifluoroethylene resin, polyvinylidene fluoride resin and polyvinyl fluoride resin are preferable as the fluorine resin surface film 1 from a view point where its tensile modulus of elasticity is high and it is strong. A polyvinyl chloride resin and acrylic resin are preferable as a resin film to be used for the transparent resin film 2 from a view point where weather resistance is comparatively favorable and, moreover, compounding with the fluorine resin film is easy. Gold, titanium, stainless steel, chromium and aluminium are preferable as metals to be used for the metallized layer 3 from a view point where they are of colors matched with feeling of a human being and comparatively strong against corrosion and possess excellent metallic feeling. |
