An electro-hydraulic device for continuous monitoring of the pressure in a motor vehicle hydraulic brake system, especially for the output of electrical control signals as a function of supplied pressure signals, is proposed, which comprises a housing having two coaxial bores, a diaphragm of amorphous metal, arranged in the housing, serving as pick-up and acted upon by the inlet pressure, and a converter for converting the hydraulic pressure into an electrical output signal which can be fed to an analysing electronics unit (according to Patent Application P 3638978.1). In order to specify a device of simple construction which is reliable and cost-effective to manufacture, the invention proposes that the converter (6, 61, 62, 63) be arranged directly opposite the amorphous diaphragm (2). <IMAGE>
