HEAT-PUMP WATER BOILER WITH COMPRESSOR IMMERSED IN THE STORAGE TANK

The invention concerns heat-pumps used for heating water, of either the water/water or air/water type. The novelty which distinguishes them from those produced hitherto is that the compressor unit (1) is located inside the storage tank (11) and therefore is in direct contact with the water to be heated. This innovation offers the advantage of transferring to the tank water the heat which is hitherto dissipated into the ambient air through the body of the compressor (which operates at high temperature). This solution increases the efficiency of the unit, reduces noise and overall dimensions, whilst ensuring the same performance.
