摘要

In a gas laser (1) with incorporated mirrors (2, 3), two longitudinal modes of the laser oscillation whose planes of polarization are mutually perpendicular are excited during operation. The angular position of the planes of polarization is stabilized by means of an optically birefringent element (5) arranged in the optical path in the optical resonator (2,3).
