An electrical fuse unit is described which can be fitted to electrical busbars (1) and has a base (2), on which feeder contacts (4) are arranged with fuse contacts (3') projecting towards the front, and in which holes (6) for accommodating fastening parts are arranged, for fitting on the busbars (1) at the front. In order to fit and fasten the electrical apparatus easily and safely, even when it is live, the invention provides for at least one mounting hook (5) to be fitted, such that it projects out of the fastening plane (17) of the base (2), on the rear side of the apparatus base (2), with a suspension tab for engaging with the electrical busbar (1) in a positively locking manner, and that the outer limb of the suspension tab has at least one inner surface which is arranged at a distance from the electrical busbar thickness and runs approximately parallel to the fastening plane (17). <IMAGE>
