<p>PURPOSE:To attain detection of a data pattern of a synchronizing signal in a serial signal string at a lower speed by detecting in advance a short data pattern in the serial signal string inputted at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:The serial data inputted at a high speed is converted into a parallel signal. Then the data pattern to be a synchronizing signal and a phase of the signal to be regarded as a synchronizing signal are detected from the data converted into a parallel signal by a phase detector 14. Based on the result of detection, since the pattern is corrected into the data pattern regarded to be the normal synchronizing signal, the parallel data by parallel shifters 13, 20 is shifted. The shifted date pattern and the synchronizing signal are compared and when they are coincident with each other, the data pattern (synchronizing signal) eliminating the phase difference and the data are outputted. Thus, the synchronizing signal is detected at a low speed, the circuit with small size, high circuit integration and low power is used and the synchronizing signal is detected sophisticatedly and flexibly.</p> |
