SUPERCONDUCTING PARALLEL PROCESSING PROCESSOR

摘要

PURPOSE:To minimize signal propagation delay time between respective processor constituting elements and to attain a processing of high efficiency and high speed by giving the degree of the freedom of selection to paths to transfer data between the elements. CONSTITUTION:The data input/output paths and their degree of freedom are determined by the connecting means of respective processors 1 with superconducting wiring channels 5. A control circuit 2 to control the whole processor array and an input/output control circuit 3 can execute a processing in accordance with the contents of the processing by selecting the input/output paths. Thus, since the degree of the freedom of the selection can be given to the paths to transfer the data between the processor constituting elements, the signal propagation delay time can be shortened and the processing of the processors 1 can be made highly efficient and highly speedy.
