摘要 In heating conductor winding machines it is known to measure constantly the resistance of the heating conductor which is supplied and, when a predetermined actual value is reached, to transmit a signal for severing the complete heating conductor filament. In a device of this kind, the resistance wire which forms the heating conductor is guided over a measurement wheel at whose circumference two voltage pick-ups are provided whose distance from each other forms the measurement length. In this arrangement it has to be noted, however, that only in a specific position of the measurement wheel do both voltage pick-ups touch the resistance wire, that is to say measurement is only possible within a very limited angle of rotation or within a very limited period of time. The present invention was therefore set the object of improving the measurement device in such a manner that a prolongation of the said period of time is achieved in order to achieve very precise measurements even in the case of high machine performances. This object is achieved according to the invention by guiding the resistance wire (D) over two contact wheels (1, 2) which supply a constant current and two synchronously driven measurement wheels (3, 4) which are arranged between said contact wheels and are in each case provided with a contact electrode (9) which contacts the resistance wire (D), the distance between the mentioned electrodes (9) from each other representing the measurement distance (M). <IMAGE>
