PURPOSE:To obtain ceramics having high surface smoothness by constituting a conveyor which transfers a green sheet into a drying furnace of a duct provided with many air supply openings atop the same. CONSTITUTION:The molded green sheet 1 is guided onto a carrying device 3 and is continuously transferred in a drying furnace. The carrying device 3 is formed of the duct 6 which is broader than the sheet and extends along the transfer direction of the green sheet 1. The many air supply openings 5 consisting of fine holes or slits, etc., are formed atop this duct 6 and compressed air is ejected therefrom to form an air layer 7 between the duct and the green sheet 1 so that the green sheet 1 is floated at a slight spacing. Since the green sheet 1 does not touch mechanical parts, the ceramics having the high surface smoothness is obtd. |
