<p>PURPOSE:To improve the precision and productivity in the cutting work by installing an eddy current generator which generated an eddy current in the vicinity of a cut-worked-position and discharging the chips from the cut-worked- position by the eddy current generated in the cutting liquid. CONSTITUTION:The cutting liquid 15 in an auxiliary pump 5 is pressurized by a pump 6 and jetted from a nozzle 10 through a liquid feeding pipe 11, and supplied into the working side tank 13 of a working machine body 1. On the working machine body 1 side, the cut position of a workpiece 4 is immersed into the cutting liquid 15, and cutting work is executed, and a certain quantity of cutting liquid which is stored is returned into the auxiliary tank 5 through a liquid discharging pipe 12. When the eddy current generators 16a and 16b revolve, an eddy current of the cutting liquid 15 is generated. The chips in the cutting liquid are floated up by the eddy current effect, and the chips which are floated up along the passage shown by the arrow are recovered into the chip receiving devices 17a and 17b at the position where the speed of the eddy current decreases. Therefore, the working precision can be improved and productivity is improved by accelerating the discharge of the chips during the cutting work.</p> |
