PURPOSE:To obtain the subject hydraulic liquid having excellent stability, slight deterioration even in using at high temperature, small depressions of pH and viscosity, containing a specific water-soluble sulfur-containing organic compound. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic liquid is blended with about 0.02-5wt.% (preferably about 0.1-1wt.%) water-soluble sulfur-containing organic compound (mixture thereof) expressed by formula I and/or formula II (n and n' is 1, 2) {e.g., 2,2'- thiodiethanol, 3-[(2-hydroxyethyl)thio]-1-propanol, 3,3'-thiodi-1-propanol, 2,2'- thiodiacetic acid, 3-[(carboxymethyl)thio]-propanoic acid or 3,3'-thiodipropionic acid} to afford the aimed hydraulic liquid. |
