PURPOSE:To improve the reactivity with the oxidant of a developing agent by incorporating a specific compd. which is small in the light absorption coefft. of a yellow dye into the photographic sensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The compd. expressed by the formula I is used. In the formula, M, J denote a group which can be substd. to a benzene ring; L1, L2 denote an aliphat. group, halogen atom., alkoxy group or alkylthio group; L3 denotes a group which can cleave PUG at the time of development processing after elimination by reaction with the oxidant of the developing agent. PUG denotes a photographically useful group. m Denotes 0-3 integer; n denotes 0-5 integer; ldenotes 0 or 1. This compd. does not become the completely non-color forming coupler but has the higher reactivity with the oxidant of the developing agent as compared to the non-color forming coupler. |
