PURPOSE: To facilitate batch gripping of a cable, additional gripping, and gripping and releasing, by griping a cable with two clamps having a specific shape jaw and a central piston between the two clamps. CONSTITUTION: Cramp devices 61 -6n are placed on a conveyer 1 so that they can move freely up and down, and grip and release a produced conductor 3 under the control of the central control unit 5. Two jaws 18a, 18b which can open or close have slops 25a, 25b at their tip and notches 26a, 26b below them, respectively. A central piston with V-shaped edge is equipped movably up and down in the intermediate space between the two clamps. Notches 26a, 26b and an edge of a piston 21 grip entirely plural conductor 3 so that its cross section has a specific shape, slopes 25a, 25b grip an additional single conductor, and they facilitate gripping and releasing.
