Titanosilicates containing noble metal and having the structure of zeolite beta are prepared by contacting porous crystalline silicates with volatile titanium halide, followed by contacting with a source of noble metal. The resulting materials can be used in preparing aromatic hydrocarbons from non-aromatics.
