<p>Electrical apparatus with automatic cutoff, in particular a differential switch, circuit-breaker or differential circuit-breaker, of the type comprising, between a rotary operating member (31) and a rocking contact-holder (34), a lock mechanism with toggle and ratchet (50) consisting of a connecting-rod (42) articulated on the operating member (31), of a link-rod (44) articulated to the other end of the connecting-rod (42) and to the contact-holder (34), and of a release lever (47) articulated about a fixed axis and provided with a longitudinal slot in which the fulcrum pin (45) between connecting-rod and link-rod can slide, the ratchet being ratcheted on the release lever.
