PURPOSE:To increase the positive electrode utilizing rate and to improve the charge and discharge property by using a powder titanium disulfide as the positive electrode active substance of a lithium secondary cell. CONSTITUTION:After manufacturing a honeycomb-form titanium disulfide porous body which consists of a condensate ot fine particles of 0.1 to 5mum, with the density 0.5 to 3.0g/cm<3>, and with the formation shown as TixS2 (where 1.00<=x<1.2), it is powdered to manufacture a powder titanium disulfide porous substance of the specific surface area 5 to 25m<2>/g. This porous substance is used as the positive electrode active substance of a lithium secondary cell. In such a way, a lithium secondary cell of a high positive electrode utilizing rate and an excellent charge and discharge property can be obtained. |
