PURPOSE:To enable rapid processing and to obviate bleach fogging by incorporat ing a specific compd. into a color developing agent for processing high-chloride silver halide and specifying the pH of a bleach-fixing bath. CONSTITUTION:The compd. expressed by the formula I is incorporated into the color developing soln. to be used for color development of a silver halide emulsion layer contg. silver halide particles consisting of >=80mol.% silver chloride and the pH of the bleach-fixing bath is specified to a 4.5-6.8 range. In the formula I, R<1>-R<3> respectively independently denote a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, etc.; R<4> denotes a hydrogen atom, hydroxy group, etc.; X<1> denotes a bivalent group, n denotes 0 or 1. R<4> denotes an alkyl group, aryl group or heterocyclic group when n=0. The processing of the silver halide color photo graphic sensitive material which has the rapid developability and is less fogged in the bleach-fixing bath is thereby enabled. |
