1361313 Wall and roof panels V P WEISMANN 23 March 1972 [29 Nov 1971] 13569/72 Heading E1B A wall or roof panel consists of a threedimensional lattice construction 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 having a plurality of passages therethrough in each of which is dispersed an insulating element 12 bonded to the lattice on its upper and/or lower surface by a bonding agent 26. The lattice is made of metal wire and the element 12 may be made of a phenolic foam, expanded vinyl foam, cross-linked polyvinyl chloride foam, polyethylene foam; urea formaldehyde foam or consist of balsa wood or an elliptical, hollow paper tube, see Fig. 5 (not shown). The bonding agent may include a foam plaster, asphalt or a suitable epoxy adhesive. For details of other materials employed, the construction of the panel, its interconnection as by welding to other panels, modified lattice constructions and other minor details the Specification and remaining drawings (not shown), should be referred to. |
