<p>PURPOSE:To accurately measure the position of a target by providing a means which displays a hyperbolic echo image, a means which moves the display position of a dummy echo image and makes the image coincident with an echo image corresponding to the maximum amplitude level of the echo image, etc. CONSTITUTION:A moving carriage 1 consists of a transmitter 10 which sends a radio wave toward an underwater buried body 3, a receiver 12 which receives its reflected wave from the buried body 3, a distance sensor 14 which generates pulses by the movement of the carriage 1, etc. Further, a main body part 2 consists of an arithmetic unit 20 which generates the echo image of the buried body 3 according to the pulse signal from a sensor 14 and the reflected signal received by the receiver 12 and a display device 21 for the echo image. The display screen of this device 21 is provided with a 1st display part 210 which displays the hyperbolic echo image 4 and dummy echo image 5 of the buried body 3, a 2nd display part 211 which displays an image of a position movement switch for moving the horizontal and vertical display positions of the echo image 5 by depressing operation, and a 3rd display part 212 which displays an image of an information acquisition switch for varying the spread of both hyperbolic opening parts of the echo image 5 by depressing operation.</p> |
