PURPOSE:To make it possible to heat a heat generating body uniformly at a constant temperature as well as to provide heat insulating function by induction heating the heat generating body made by mixing electricity conducting material powder and a latent heat storing material. CONSTITUTION:A heat generating body 3 held below the bottom surface of a container 1 is constituted with a uniform mixture of magnetic material powder 3a and a latent heat storing material 3b. A high frequency power source 6 generates a high frequency voltage to flow a high frequency current through an induction coil 5 which in turn generates a high frequency magnetic flux to generate an eddy current in the magnetic material powder 3a of the heat generating body 3 located within the magnetic field and to generate heat in the magnetic material powder 3a by the eddy current loss. The heat generated is stored by changing the latent heat storing material 3b from solid to liquid thereby heating the container 1 and a content 2. This arrangement makes it possible to heat the heat generating body uniformly at a constant temperature as well as to provide a heat insulating function. |
