Pre-fabricated radius edges for foundry moulds etc - - made from plastic

Set radius edges for cores and moulds are produced by the provision of pre-fabricated radiused angle edges along the edges and in corners of the mould boxes or on the patterns. The ledges consist pref. of polystyrene and have an adhesive tape covering, which contacts the moulding material and adheres to it peeling off the ledge on taking apart of the finished mould. The method greatly reduced labour cost both in actual moulding and in pattern etc., making for the sand foundry industry.
