<p>PURPOSE:To make the title device convenient for use by cutting roll paper with a cut signal based on the discriminated result of a 1st discrimination means at usual time and cutting the roll paper with a cut signal based on the discriminated result of a 2nd discrimination means at the time of shifting an image. CONSTITUTION:Whether the roll paper 31 and 33 is cut in the size of sideways fixed form or the size of lengthwise fixed form is automatically discriminated by the 1st discrimination means which discriminates the cut length of the roll paper 31 and 33 from the length of the image determined from the length in the conveying direction of an original and a selected copying magnification and the width size of the roll paper 31 and 33 at the time of usual copying. Meanwhile, at the time of forming the image by shifting the image, the cut length is automatically discriminated by the 2nd discrimination means to which correction is added corresponding to the image shifting amount. Therefore, an operator need not input the cut length in the device 50 specially and the roll paper can be cut in the size of fixed form even in case of an image shift mode. Thus, the convenience in use can be improved.</p> |
