PURPOSE:To eliminate the needs for separately buying train tickets in accordance with a train section by writing rewritable available amount and boarding station information onto a magnetic card boarding ticket and providing a magnetic information reader/writer in a ticket barrier. CONSTITUTION:A station code 11 showing the boarding station is written onto the magnetic card 1 by a magnetic information writer 20, and the available amount 12 is written in accordance with a purchase amount. The station code write part 23 in the magnetic information write device 20 writes the station code 11 of the boarding station in the magnetic card 1 at the time of boarding, and the station read/write part 21 of the magnetic information reader/writer 2 reads and deletes the station code of the boarding station from the magnetic card 1 at the time of getting-off and an available amount read write part2 2 reads the available amount 12, transmits it to a computer 3 and writes again the residual amount calculated by the computer 3 and a data base 4. Thus, a piece of the magnetic card train ticket can be used at any number of times until the available amount shows zero and therefore, a trouble for purchasing the train ticket at every boarding time is eliminated. |
