PURPOSE:To prevent generation of stains on the surface of a PS plate by drying of a development accelerating member and to improve development accelerating property by holding a paired roller which is the development accelerating member immersed in a developing soln. pool and subjecting the PS plate to development processing. CONSTITUTION:The PS plate 2 which is carried by the roller pair 1a and 1b is first uniformly developed under a uniform liquid film thickness in the liquid pool 9 formed of a developing soln. supplying member 7 and a developing section roller 8 and the edge parts thereof are additionally developed by a succeeding developing tank 11 and a guide roller 12. The PS plate is then rubbed by a brush roller 13 which is the development accelerating member and is squeezed of the developing soln. by squeezing rollers 14, by which the development is completed. The counter roller 13a of the roller 13 and the lower roller of the rollers 14 are immersed into the developing soln. in the developing tank 15 to prevent drying of the roller 13 which is the rubbing member and to improve the development accelerating property with the small amt. of the developing soln. In addition, the staining of the PS plate surface is prevented. |
