A reinforced composite material comprises a solid heat fusible polymer, a reinforcing material, a latex binder contg. anionic or cationic bound charges and a flocculant. The reinforcing material comprises glass fibers with up to 10 wt.% cellulose pulp. The fusible poymer is polyethylene, chlorinated polyethylene, ethylene acrylic acid copolymer, polypropylene, acrylonirile butadiene styrene copolymer, PVC, vinylidene chloride copolymer or styrene polymer. The latex is an anionic styrene butadience unsatd. carboxylic acid copolymer latex.
