PURPOSE:To simply and instantaneously recognize which part is specified by permitting a display device to display a specified copying area or a specified non-copying area. CONSTITUTION:After a CPU 25 adds information identifying a copying or non- copying area to coordinate data inputted from an input device 20, the data is transferred to an infrared luminous unit 22 through a driving part 21, converted into coordinate data signals of infrared rays, and then transmitted to a copying machine 1. On receiving the coordinate data signals, the CPU 10 of the copying machine 1 controls an exposing unit so that an original image is not exposed in any area other than a specified area, and the copying machine copies the original image only in a specified area. Then, the CPU 25 replaces the coordinate data with the relative position on the display screen of the display 24. Thus, in the display 24, picture elements in the area corresponding to a specified one on the display screen light up, whereby the area specified as a copying one can be recognized. |
