PURPOSE:To prevent slip caused by excessive drive force at low speed gear position by prohibiting kickdown command for a speed change controller if a control characteristic map based on relation between accelerator operating amount and throttle opening is not at the uppermost position. CONSTITUTION:Means (c) operates a slip rate based on a drive wheel speed detected through means (a) and a body speed detected through means (b). Relation of the throttle opening with respect to accelerator operating amount detected through means (d) is set as a control characteristic map through means (f), and a predetermined control characteristic map is selected through means (g) according to slip rate. Furthermore, means (j) controls a throttle actuator (i) such that an actual throttle opening detected through means (e) matches to a target throttle opening set through means (h). If the selected control characteristic map is not at the uppermost position, kickdown command for a speed change controller (k) is prohibited through means 1. |
