METHOD OF TREATING A POLYMERIZATION REACTOR

A process for treating a reactor in the polymerization of a monomer compsn. of vinyl chloride comprises lining an inner surface of the reactor with a coating solution. The coating solution contains a resin botd. by the extn. of pinewood, and an alkaline hydroxide solution and/or an organic solution. The reactor prevents polymer- sticking to the inside of the reactor.
