PURPOSE:To make safe analysis by transmitting light of the absorption wavelength of water through a reagent soln., determining the absorbancy of the transmitted light and determining the quantity of the reagent remaining in a reagent vessel from the quantity of the absorbed light. CONSTITUTION:A stepping motor 11 is operated prior to the analysis and a reagent table 2 is intermittently operated to move the reagent vessel 3 to a measuring position. The light 15 from a light source 13 reflected by a mirror 14 is projected from an aperture 26 of the reagent vessel 3 on the inside of the vessel 3 and the transmitted light 16 thereof is reflected by a mirror 17 and is sent to a half mirror 18. Said light is then measured by a two-wavelength spectrophotometric method. The light reflected by the half mirror 18 is passed through a filter 19 and the absorbancy of the light of 900nm wavelength is measured. The light transmitted through the half mirror 18 is passed through a filter 21 and the absorbancy of the light of 975nm is measured. The depth of the remaining quantity of the reagent is then measured from these absorbancies. |
