<p>PURPOSE:To improve availability of a motor, by switching the connection of an armature from an accelerating circuit to a regenerative brake circuit when rotation of motor exceeds over a setting level during acceleration of the motor. CONSTITUTION:When an accelerator switch 23a is turned ON, rotation of motor is lower than a setting level and thereby the output from a rotation level detector 25 is L. Consequently, the output from an AND gate 26 is brought to H thus constituting an accelerating circuit. At this time, gate control circuits 21, 22 control choppers 3, 10 corresponding to the treading amount of accelerator. When a vehicle comes to a down grade under such powering condition, output from the rotation level detector 25 is brought to H. Consequently, output from an AND gate 27 is brought to H and switching to a regenerative brake circuit is made. At this time, the chopper 3 is turned OFF and the chopper 10 is controlled so that the exciting current thereof is of a setting level.</p> |
