<p>PURPOSE:To find the reverse characteristics of a transmission line in a short time by storing the reciprocal of a distorted frequency component in a read-only memory preliminarily multiplying the reciprocal of the distorted frequency component by the frequency component of a test pulse, and finding the reverse characteristics of transmission line distortion. CONSTITUTION:When the test pulse is inputted from an input terminal 1, a processor 2 stores this test pulse in a received signal memory 3 and then reads out the stored test pulse to calculate its frequency component X(W) by fast Fourier transformation. Then this X(W) is inputted as an address signal of a ROM 5 to read out the reciprocal 1/X(W) of the X(W). Further, the frequency component R(W) of the test pulse sent from a transmission side is read out of the ROM 4 and these R(W) and 1/X(W) are inputted to a multiplier 6. Consequently, the multiplier 6 calculates 1/H(W)=R(W).1/X(W) to calculate the reverse characteristics of the transmission line distortion.</p> |
