PURPOSE:To prevent the collision of a jag guide and a tong claw tip by turning the jag guide positively by the tong claw tip and turning it within a range in which it does not interface with the tong claw tip. CONSTITUTION:As for a jag guide 1, its base end is connected to a needle head part 9 and projected horizontally, and a pair of upper and lower guide plates 3 and the right and the left opening parts which are notched between these guide plates 3 are provided on the tip. The base end is attached so as to be turnable to a head part 9 by holding a rotation angle within a range of about 60 deg. through a suitable stopper. The guide plates 3 are formed to a twist blade plate shape in the prescribed direction, whose tip is bent to the outside, respectively. As a result, even when a tong claw tip 17 and the guide plate 3 do not coincide with the same axis in advance, the guide 1 is brought to turning correction so that the right and left opening parts connected to the guide plate 3 always come right sideways. In such a way, the collision of the guide 1 and the claw tip 17 is prevented.
