<p>PURPOSE:To enable cooling of an inverter circuit and to enable reduction of the generation of noise, by a method wherein one end of a heat pipe is inserted in a heat exchanger, and the other end is inserted in a mounting block to which a giant transistor and a positive characteristic thermistor are mounted. CONSTITUTION:The interior of an outdoor machine body 49 is partitioned into the heat exchanger side and the compressor side by means of a partition plate 52. With a compressor 50 run, a giant transistor 62 and a positive characteristic thermistor 63 generates heat gradually. The generated heat is transferred to a mounting block 60 for dissipation. The dissipated heat is transferred from the mounting block 60 to one end of a heat pipe 58 so as to heat-exchange. The heat passes the vertical part of the heat pipe 58 and is carried to a position below a heat exchanger 53 for heat dissipation thereat. Heat in the mounting block 60 is dissipated on the heat exchanger 53 side by means of a medium in a heat pipe 58. Further, during cooling, the heat pipe 58 inserted in the heat exchanger 53 is cooled with the aid of a blower 51.</p> |
