PURPOSE:To inhibit the formation of pores in the matrix layer between titanium boride particles sufficiently to increase the density and strength of the sintered products therefrom by forming a sintered product of such a structure as the matrix layer of nickel boride-titanium carbide solid solution are arranged between titanium boride particles. CONSTITUTION:The sintered product of titanium boride ceramic has such a structure as the matrix layer 30 of nickel boride-titanium carbide solid solution is arranged between titanium boride particles 20. The average particle size of the titanium boride particles is preferably 0.5-8 micrometers. The sintered product has more than 95% relative density.
