<p>PURPOSE:To position an electronic component accurately with respect to a suction nozzle for a robot by sucking the electronic component, carrying the electronic component from a tray and making the electronic component drop by gravity toward an indentation section approximately coincident with the external shape of the electronic component of a jig installed at a fixed position. CONSTITUTION:A suction nozzle 6 sucks and carries a TAB component 1 (electronic component) housed in a tray, and is stopped in the upper section of a jig 11 and positions the TAB component 1 to the upper section of an indentation section 12. The suction nozzle 6 stops the suction of the TAB component 1 once, and the TAB component 1 is made to drop by gravity. Consequently, the TAB component 1 reaches to the bottom 13 of the indentation section 12 by its own weight and is fitted to the indentation section, and is positioned to the indentation section 12. Accordingly, the TAB component 1 is positioned precisely to the suction nozzle 6.</p> |
