<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title sheet improved in gravure printability, by forming a coating layer in which a specified amount of a specific component such as satin white has been incorporated on the surface of the original sheet with the back surface laminated with a release paper through an adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION:The objective adhesive sheet capable of giving printed finish of gradation nature when pattern-printed, with the pattern accurate and sharp and clear in color tone, can be obtained by coating a composition comprising (A) a pigment made up of (i) 40-3(pref. 25-5)wt.% of satin white and (ii) 60-97(pref. 75-95)wt.% of calcium carbonate with a specific surface area of 12,000-50,000cm<2>/g and (B) 3-15wt.% based on the pigment A, of an adhesive consisting of an alkali-sensitive polymer latex (e.g. styrene) on the surface of the original sheet with the back surface laminated with a release paper through a water-soluble adhesive layer.</p> |
