PURPOSE:To prevent an unnecessary noise picture from appearing in the end part of a paper by switching the effective range gate signal of picture data to be transmitted to a printer from a picture processing part according to the size of an original. CONSTITUTION:The picture processing part 2 is provided with an original size detecting means to detect the size of the original based on one side in a main scanning direction by the scanning of a line image sensor at a scanner part 1, and a control means to control the effective range gate signal of the picture data according to the detected original size. Thus, in a case that the width of the paper of the printer 3 is wider than the effective width of the picture data and so on, danger that the unnecessary picture or a noise occurs in a copy can be prevented. |
