PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity and repetitive characteristic of a photosensitive body by providing a photosensitive layer contg. specific disazo compds. CONSTITUTION:One or more than one kinds of the compds. expressed by formula I are compounded as a charge generating material with the photosensitive layer. In formula I, -D- denotes the groups expressed by formula II-III, etc.; Cp denotes a residual coupler group. Y1-Y10, Y17-Y24 in formulas II, III denote H, cyano, carbamoyl, etc.; R1, R2 denote cyano, aralkyl, etc. The compd. expressed by formula IV, etc., are usable as the compd. of formula I and a pyrazoline compd. and hydrazone compd. are usable as the charge transfer material. Formation of the photosensitive layer by a coating method, etc. is possible as well. |
