PURPOSE: To improve the reliability of a machine drive system with ease by providing a plurality of motors according to the degree of freedom of the motion of a work section and arranging a belt drive system independently transmitting the drive force from each motor. CONSTITUTION: A first drive part 16 is arranged to transmit the drive force from a first motor means to a first carrier (saddle) 2, and a second drive part 21 is arranged to transmit the drive force from a second motor means to a second carrier (arm) 1. This second drive part comprises a belt means 9 having two parts extending between a portion on the first carrier 2 and a portion on the second carrier 1. When this first motor means is driven and the second motor means stops, the two parts are maintained to be the same length, as a result, the belt means 9 is driven by the second motor means so that even if the first carrier 2 is moved, the second carrier 1 does not relatively move to the first carrier 2. |
