PURPOSE:To receive a signal with a standard video signal receiver by packet- encoding a picture part to match a highly minute video signal and packet- encoding the residual picture part with the use of the correlation of the already packet-encoded part. CONSTITUTION:Only displaying picture elements Xij of an NTSC signal are gathered, and inter-frame correlation orthogonal conversion encoding is carried out. A transmission encoding series which is encoding-outputted is made packeted at every certain unit, and the displaying of the NTSC signal is added at its top. Next, displaying picture elements Yij of the residual highly minute video signal are selected, and the correlation of the encoded displaying picture element Xij is obtained when the displaying picture element Xij exists near the Yij. When the displaying picture element Xij does not exist near the displaying picture element Yij, the encoding is carried out by the correlation between the displaying picture elements Yij. Thus, when the NTSC receiver is used, only the NTSC displaying packets can be selected out of the sent packets, and only by decoding them, the standard video can be displayed on the picture. |
