PROCESS FOR PREPARING REAGENT TO ASSAYING ATL VIRUS ANTIBODY

A method for preparing an assaying reagent for ATL virus antibody is presented. Thus, 1mg mouse anti-human IgG (Fc) was dissolved in 1ml 0.05M-phosphate buffer (pH 7.5). 10 l of the soln. was mixed with 50μl of 1 mCi-125I-Na, treated with 10 l of a mixt. contg. 1.5mg chloramin T in 1 ml phosphate buffer for 30 sec, and pased through Sephadex G-50 column to give 5-20 Ci/μg of 125I-labelled compd. The labelled compd. was combined with ATL virus-Ag in a polystyrene cup contg. ATL-related serum to give a set for assaying ATL virus antibody.
