The present invention relates to a device for driving flexible removable supports 8, comprising two parallel endless chains 3 between which each of the flexible supports 8 is fastened by a temporary attachment system. According to the invention, this attachment system comprises, on the one hand, two coupling studs 19 which are, respectively, carried opposite each other by the two endless chains 3 while each being provided with a blind slot 20 inclined in the direction A of the movement of the chains and, on the other hand, a rod 18 carried by one of the ends of the support 8 and engaging, at its two tips, in the slots 20 of the two coupling studs 19, retention means 21, 22, integral with the chassis of the device, being provided along a part of the path of the supports not including their zone for uncoupling from the chains 3 in order, if necessary, to ensure that the rod 18 of each of the supports 8 is held in place in the slots 20 of the coupling studs 19. Use, in particular, as a discharge device of an installation for coating confectionery products in order to drive the belts for depositing coated confectionery products. <IMAGE>
