PURPOSE:To obtain the title yarn having excellent flexibility and durability and producible at a low cost, by using aramid fiber and stainless steel wire wound round with nylon yarn, etc., as a core material and winding the core material with a synthetic fiber in two layers wherein the winding direction of the outer layer is opposite to that of the inner layer. CONSTITUTION:(A) An aramid fiber 34 and (B) stainless steel wires 31, 32, 33 wound round with nylon yarns 36, 37, 38 are collected into a bundle and used as a core material 30. The circumference of the core material 30 is wound round with (C) a synthetic fiber (e.g. nylon) to form an inner coating layer 41, which is covered with an outer layer 42 wound round on the inner layer in opposite direction to obtain the objective cut-resistant yarn 20. |
