Cap with closure by pivoting tab for stopping containers comprising, starting from its top 3, a thinned segment 11 forming a hinge and providing the link between the said top 3 and a part of a tab 6 delimiting, on at least one side of the said thinned segment 11, protruding lugs 12, 13, the said top 3 comprising, in a notch, small rods 16, 17 aligned with the lugs 12, 13, the amount by which the lugs 12, 13 and the small rods 16, 17 respectively protrude ensuring that these lugs and small rods come into contact with one another during the pivoting of the tab 6 and ensure the locking of this tab. <IMAGE>
