A suction head 1 according to the invention comprises an end-piece 2 which is fitted to a suction tube 3. The head includes a front plate 7 which includes one or more suction openings 9. On this front face is fixed a magnetic plate 10 which includes one or more openings 11 which are positioned opposite the openings 9. The small metal objects such as paper clips, pins, drawing pins, etc. are sucked up by the air current and remain fixed to the magnetic plate.
