PURPOSE:To smoothly execute the input of playing data for one piece of music in a short time by reading the playing data for one block from the storing area of a memory to correspond to the designating block when an operating means for confirmation is operated and generating a tone on the basis of these read playing data. CONSTITUTION:When the operating means for confirmation is operated at the input time of the playing data, the playing data for one block to be designated by a block designating means are read from the storing area in a memory 62 and uttered as the tone by tone generating means 51-55. Accordingly, the confirmation of the playing data, which are written to the memory 62, can be executed for the unit of the designated block, for example, for the unit of one measure. Thus, the input work of the playing data for one piece of music can be smoothly executed in a short time. |
