PURPOSE:To make it possible to lighten the weight of the suspension unit in the caption and enhance its reliability, so as to control a camber change and a toe change by installing a wheel support to a leaf spring in such a condition that the wheel support can not be shifted in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle, and supporting as wheel support with three lateral links. CONSTITUTION:A rear wheel 1 is supported with three lateral links 2-4 placed inside a vehicle body, and they are lower links 2, 4 and an upper link 3. And a wheel support 14 for supporting the wheel connects the outer end of the upper link 3 and the outer ends of the lower links 2, 4 to arms 14b and 14a, 14c respectively in a freely rotatable state. All of these connection means have strength enough for generating a reaction force against a braking force at braking, That is, they are firmly fixed in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle, is these three lateral links are adopted, a wheel position is regulated only with them, and the toe change and the camber angle change of the wheel can be controlled so as to obtain a preferable condition at bumping, rebounding, or when a transverse force or a longitudinal force is applied to the wheel. |
