To provide a clamping device for working the joints between two workpieces, comprising a clamping tool with a first and a second clamping part which in each case have a first and second clamping yoke, respectively, and at least one clamping surface, and also with a threaded spindle which is guided on one of the clamping parts so as to be fixed against rotation in directions transversely to its longitudinal axis and is mounted on the other clamping part so as to be rotatable about its longitudinal axis and fixed against displacement in the direction of the longitudinal axis, it is proposed that each of the clamping yokes has two clamping surfaces lying in a common plane and arranged at a distance from one another, and that mutually opposite cutouts are provided in the clamping yokes between the clamping surfaces.
