PURPOSE:To make available a temperature control in a low temperature zone matching a flour for its fermentation and the like by driving a fan intermittently and at the same time by controlling a heater accordingly to a compartment temperature while the fan is driven, in a cooking utensil equipped with a heater and a fan. CONSTITUTION:A cooking utensil is made operable as an oven by letting an air heated up by a heater 4 to inject from an outlet 1a provided at an upper part of heating compartment 1 into the heating compartment through a rotation of fan 5. In this cooking utensil, a menu key provided on an operating section 8 is operated for selecting a cooking type to enable a flour to ferment. To carry out this flour fermentation, the cooking utensil is operated in an intermittent cycle wherein a fan 5 is alternatively driven to rotate for a time T1 (5 seconds, for example) and caused to stop for a time T2 (2 seconds, for example). While the fan 5 is driven to rotate, a heater 4 is controlled by an electrical energization responsive to an output of temperature sensor 6 detecting the compartment temperature intermittently. |
