An apparatus for spreader-stacking of plants is provided, in which the free-flowing wet solids, in particular refuse masses, to be processed are fed to the housing of a comminution or cutting rotor with the aid of a thick-matter pump. The feeding takes place, in this arrangement, via a guiding section which can be constructed as a formed part and which deforms the masses as they flow through from the circular entry cross-section into an elongately rectangular cross-section. The exit cross-section is, in this arrangement, profiled in a particular manner, namely by at least one wall camber which projects inwardly from a side wall of the exit cross-section, the width and radial height of which wall camber gradually decrease counter to the flow direction in the guide section.
